Our Team

  • Mark Walz | Pastor/Priest

    Mark Walz

    Pastor | Priest

Mark has been actively engaged in ministry since 1995. While his background does not originate within the Anglican tradition, he has often described his profound calling into this spiritual community as “like coming home.” This sentiment reflects a deep connection he has developed over the years, finding solace and purpose in the beliefs and practices of the Anglican faith.

  • Jake Glover | Director of Worship and Outreach

    Jake Glover

    Director of Worship and Outreach

Jake has been actively involved in ministry for over a decade, engaging in various roles within the church community. He met his wife, Ally, while they were both leading worship during their college years. Throughout their journey in ministry, leading worship has remained one of the consistent and cherished aspects of their shared experience together.

  • Chuck Higdon | Deacon

    Chuck Higdon

    Deacon

After a 43-year career in the oil & gas industry, Chuck retired in April of 2022. He and his wife, Deborah, were called to the church planting of St. Patrick's and have been happy and proud to serve the congregation as volunteers. In 2023, Chuck heard the call of Christ to serve his church and people as a Deacon with an emphasis in ministry support and as a chaplain to those home-bound, sick, or in hospital. He was ordained in May 2025. Chuck's journey to Christ began by the personal loving witness of his Catholic foster family. He grew in biblical knowledge by his attendance for over 25 years in various Bible Churches and finally found the home he'd long searched for in the Anglican Mission. Chuck and Deborah have a blended family of five children and blessed to have 10 grandchildren.

  • Christopher Godoy | Family Ministries Director

    Christopher Godoy

    Family Ministries Director

After 15 years in 4 different cities helping many different churches Christopher found his way to St. Patrick’s and the Anglican faith. His education at Dallas Theological Seminary led him to a more liturgical expression of worship on Sunday morning and now he uses that mindset to create a holistic Kids Ministry that allows our children to steadily be brought into the Sunday morning service and know it’s for them to participate in as well. Christopher is married to Hannah, and they have 3 kids, Bowie, Iggy, and Millicent.

  • Abraham Bratrud - Men's Ministry Director

    Abraham Bratrud

    Men’s Ministry Director

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Abraham went to college in Idaho and studied theology and literature. He met his wife MaryBeth there, and they had their first child while they were both students. Their family have lived in the DFW area since 2017, and were received into the Anglican church at All Saints Dallas in 2018. Abe enjoys studying scripture, reading old books, fishing, cooking, and spending time outdoors with his family.

What’s in a Name?

Saint Patrick is well-known for sharing the message of Jesus Christ in Ireland, but he was not Irish. He was kidnapped as a boy and taken to Ireland as a slave. After years, he escaped, and God called him back to Ireland, a place where he had suffered, to help the people find healing through the gospel. Patrick followed God's call and returned to Ireland with a team of clergy, laypeople, and students, which many believe was key to his success.

Like Saint Patrick, we believe that making disciples is a joyful responsibility for the whole church, not just one person. Just as Ireland needed redemption during Patrick's time, Dallas is a beautiful city in need of Christ's love and a hopeful church community.

Interestingly, images of Saint Patrick often show snakes and a three-leaf clover. He used the clover to explain the Trinity, and an Irish myth suggests there are no snakes in Ireland because Patrick prayed them away!

What We Believe

We are a Christ-Centered, Liturgical, Bible Believing, Spirit-Filled Anglican Church and an integral part of the Anglican Mission in America, often referred to as AMiA. Established in the rich Anglican tradition, our foundation is rooted in the practices and beliefs of the first-century church, which evolved and flourished during the period of the English Reformation. AMiA draws its strength and guidance from these three vital streams: the sacred scripture, meaningful sacraments, and the inspiring movement of the Holy Spirit, all of which come together to nourish and enrich our faith community.

Three-Stream Living is a welcoming and enriching place where three-stream Anglicans come together to grow, learn, and deepen their understanding of how to effectively live out a vibrant three-stream life. We truly believe with conviction that this unique way of life is a profound expression of the divine call we each have on our lives to usher in God’s kingdom here on earth. As we actively pursue a life that is thoughtfully balanced with the teachings of the word of God, strong connections to the expansive community of saints and cherished traditions, along with the ongoing and transformative outpouring of the Holy Spirit, we will undoubtedly make a meaningful difference in the world. Through this commitment, we will bear the rich fruit that God promises, and we will engage in the good work that God has prepared for us long in advance.

The Three Streams

  • Sacraments

We firmly believe that the sacramental life is truly embodied in the sacred sacraments that were instituted by Jesus Christ, along with the creeds, practices, and teachings that have developed and evolved over the centuries, all based upon those fundamental sacraments. These traditions, collectively referred to as the catholic tradition, represent the rich heritage of beliefs and practices that Christians have cherished and upheld throughout history.

  • Scripture

We firmly hold that Scripture guides our daily lives and serves as the ultimate authority for us, both as individuals and collectively for the entire Church family, a principle that aligns with what is known as the evangelical tradition.

  • Spirit

We trust that the Holy Spirit is actively at work within the Church, throughout the world, and within each individual who openly confesses Jesus as the Son of God, the Christ. This profound presence is manifesting His power and guidance, preparing us for various forms of ministry through the abundant bounty of His gifts, which are collectively recognized as the charismatic tradition. Through these gifts, we are inspired and equipped to serve one another and our communities.
