About The Event
When one is baptized, especially as an infant or young child, it is necessary to confirm your full acceptance of the Christian faith. By the laying on of hands, the bishop confirms this faith and asks God to strengthen the work of the Holy Spirit in their daily lives. Though laying on of hands is not a sacrament, it is sacramental and holy work of the Church as directed in scripture (Acts 8:14-17).i
